Kirk serves as a Wealth Management Associate within ROCA. Kirk was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and attended Oak Grove High School where he met his wife, Erica. After graduating from Oak Grove, Kirk attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he graduated in December of 2018 with a degree in Accounting. While at USM, Kirk was also a member of the Southern Miss Baseball team.

After 3 years at Southern Miss, the Cleveland Guardians selected Kirk in the 7th Round of the 2017 MLB First Year Player Draft. After 4 years in the Guardians Minor League system, Kirk made his debut in Yankee Stadium on April 12, 2022. After his debut, 2022 was a roller coaster that featured the birth of his daughter, Kate, a brief 9-day stint with the Baltimore Orioles organization, followed by a reunion with the Guardians and a trip to the MLB Playoffs. Looking for stability and a new adventure, Kirk decided to move his career overseas. In 2023, he signed a contract with the SSG Landers of the Korean Baseball Organization. This contract led to him signing with the CTBC Brothers of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in Taiwan in 2024. After 8 years in professional baseball, 2024 marked the first championship in Kirk’s career as the Brothers took home the Taiwan Series crown. 

After initially re-signing with the Brothers for the 2025 season, Kirk decided to retire from baseball after Spring Training and begin a new journey in the finance industry. As a client for 8 years, Kirk had an existing relationship with the team, making ROCA the perfect fit. He is in the process of studying for his Series 7 and Series 66 to begin acting as a financial advisor at ROCA. Kirk’s career as a professional baseball athlete has given him a unique perspective on the importance of financial planning, especially when faced with unexpected setbacks or opportunities. 

Kirk, his wife Erica, and daughter Kate live in Hattiesburg, where they enjoy spending time together and doing all things outdoors.
